Ο Ιερός Ναός της Ευαγγελιστρίας της Τήνου ή Παναγία της Τήνου, είναι ορθόδοξος ναός της Τήνου και αποτελεί προορισμό αρκετών Χριστιανών προσκυνητών ιδιαίτερα κάθε δεκαπεντάυγουστο στην Κοίμηση της Θεοτόκου (15.08). 

Έναρξη εργασιών:1823 

Αποπεράτωση εργασιών:1880

• Αρχιτέκτονας: Ευστράτιος Καλονάρης.    

• Ζωγράφοι: Χατζής Λαμπρινός (τέμπλο), Ιωάννης Σιώτος [εικόνα της Μεταμορφώσεως και εικονίδια εορτών (1826)], Φραγκίσκος Δεσίπρης [ Κοίμηση της Θεοτόκου στο αριστερό κλίτος (1840) ], Ν. Γ.Αλβέρτης [Αρχάγγέλοι στις πλάγιες πύλες του ιερού (1858)].

Σύμφωνα με την ημερομηνία που είναι σκαλισμένη στο ξυλόγλυπτο τέμπλο, τα θυρανοίξια του Ναού της Παναγίας έγιναν το 1825. 

Ρυθμός: Τρίκλιτη Βασιλική με τρούλο.

Υλικό: Λευκό μάρμαρο

Πληροφορία - κλειδί: Το πρώτο αξιόλογο αρχιτεκτονικό μνημείο του απελευθερωμένου ελληνικού έθνους (1821 + ).

Ο ναός παραμένει μέχρι σήμερα χωρίς ουσιαστικές αλλαγές, εκτός από την κύρια όψη και το καμπαναριό.

Our Lady of Tinos is the major Marian shrine in Greece. It is located in the town of Tinos on the island of Tinos.

The church is officially dedicated to the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary. The major feast of the church, however, is on 15 August when the Dormition of the Virgin Mary (Theotokos) is commemorated by the Greek Orthodox Church, following the strong tradition of the Aegean Islands where the Dormition is grandly celebrated in mid-August as the principal summer feast.

Work started: 1823

Completion of works: 1880

Architect: Efstratios Kalonaris.

Painters: Hatzis Lambrinos (icon screen), Ioannis Siotos (1826), Fragiskos Desipris [The Assumption of the Virgin in the Left aisle (1840)], N. G.Alvertis [Archangels at the sacral gates of the sanctuary (1858) )].

According to the date that is carved into the wood-carved icon screen, the opening of service of Our Lady of Tinos  was made in 1825.

Rhythm: Three-aisled basilica with dome.

Material: White marble

Key Information: The first remarkable architectural monument of the liberated Greek nation (1821+).

The temple remains unchanged until today, except for the main view and the bell tower.
